About six months ago I went to work for August Entertainment in Las Vegas
as their publicity manager. My clients are Steve Lee August and Maria Gara - AKA "The SnakeBabe" They work
steadily in Las Vegas, and have appeared on many TV shows including Late Night w/ David Letterman, Animal Planet,
Ripley's Believe it or Not, and as hosts for Comedy Central, to mention a few.
It seems that whenever I have run PR for them, somehow your name keeps
popping up. Most recently, I ran through the wire services a press release entitled " SnakeBabe Provides Serpent for Guess
Inc's New Ad Campaign Featuring Paris Hilton"
I also ran it through ArriveNet, and yep, there you were again. Previous
to this, I was surfing the net and found an article about TV producers, and found it very helpful. I read the authors name
- "George Mcquade III" In fact, I used the info in that article to contact Leilani Decena, segment producer for KTLA.
Now I use CornerBarPR, as opposed to BurrellesLuce or Bacon to get sources, as it is less expensive and supplies good info,
albeit without all the bells and whistles.
Just wanted to let you know that the highly visible and helpful
information you have written on the web has provided me, and most likely many others, with good solid tips to help get
the PR job done. Kudos to you George!
Years ago when you were the "MC" at the "Last Blast" concert at Devonshire
Downs, where I was performing with "The Dominators" band, you extended a helping hand. I have not forgotten your
generosity. It is your trait to help others, and it is your personal touch and willingness to share your extensive
